Organizers
Founded in 1947, the International Centre of Research and Information on the Public, Social and Cooperative Economy (CIRIEC) is an international non-governmental scientific organization that currently has 15 national sections and 8 collective members throughout the world.
Its objectives are to undertake and promote the collection of information, scientific research, and the publication of works on economic sectors and activities oriented towards the service of the general and collective interest. CIRIEC has an original feature since it develops activities of interest for both managers and researchers active in serving the general or collective interest. CIRIEC aims at being an international meeting point and a locus of research and reflection networking, without lobbying for any particular interests. |
Founded in 2012, the Social Economy Institute (SEI) is an institutional member of CIRIEC since 2017 and is dedicated to the development of Social Economy, Social Entrepreneurship and Social Impact Investments.
The SEI contributes to the inception, financing, implementation and social impact measurement of research and development projects throughout the European Union. It offers expertise to public, corporate and collective organizations for policy forecast, social innovation, sustainable urbanization, industrial design and systemic experimentation projects. Along, the Social Economy Institute assists individuals and vulnerable social groups in materializing promising vocational and personal development trajectories. |
