Heidrun MAIER-DE KRUIJFF

Heidrun Maier-de Kruijff was born in 1975 in Styria, Austria. From 1995 to 2002 she attended the University of Vienna and graduated with degrees in political science, history and law. In the subsequent years she put a strong focus on commercial and competition law, working as legal staff as well as completing the judicial year. From 2004 until 2009, she took up the function as MEP-Assistant in Brussels and Strasbourg, primarily dealing with energy and foreign policy. Since the year 2010, Mrs. Maier-de Kruijff is executive director of the Association of Public Services and Enterprises Austria (VÖWG, Austrian Section of SGI Europe) and of the Association of Municipal Enterprises in Austria (VKÖ). longside with emphasizing the significance of services of general interest in the public sphere, comprehensive networking both with member organizations of VKÖ/VÖWG, European partner organizations and official institutions is a key aspect to her work. |
