Jérôme SADDIER, President of the French Chamber of Social and Solidarity Economy (ESS France); Vice Executive Chairman of Crédit Coopératif; President of AVISE (France)
Jérôme Saddier, is graduated in political science and international relations, has held several management positions in the mutualist movement and the SSE for some fifteen years, as well as in local, national and international public institutions. Since 2019, Jérôme Saddier is President of ESS-France. He also chairs AVISE, an engineering and services agency for the development of SSE since September 2016; he is also Vice-President of the French section of CIRIEC. He was elected Deputy Vice-Chairman of Crédit Coopératif in June 2018. He sat on the Board of Directors of Crédit Coopératif from May 2015 to March 2018 as a representative of the Mutuelle Nationale Territoriale, and became Vice-Chairman from May 2016. Between 2012 and 2014, he was Special Advisor and Chief of Staff to Benoît Hamon, Minister of SSE and Consumer Affairs, taking an active part in the drafting of the SSE law. He had previously held management positions at the Mutualité Fonction Publique and the Mutuelle des Etudiants, after having been a diplomat with the social organizations of the United Nations, Advisor to two Ministers between 2000 and 2002 (Elisabeth Guigou and Alain Richard), and beginning his professional career as a staff member of local elected |
